Views our body as continuously under attack. The enemies are germs. Usually our defenses are strong enough to ward off the enemy, but sometimes the attackers get through and we get sick. The film explains the different types of disease producing micro - organisms such as bacteria, viruses and fungi. The ailments caused by them may just be unpleasant or life - threatening. Preventions to germ - caused disease are stressed and treatments such as antibiotics are explained.
