Presents a study of two recent volcanic eruptions. One is on the uninhabited island of San Benedicto off the Mexican coast and emits smoke and gas on a twenty minute schedule. The other is Myo-jin, 200 miles from Tokyo, which formed two new islands out of lava exploding from a five-mile-wide crater.
