Gardens Of The Morning

The film begins with the Nineteenth Century movement to protect the 1,200 square-mile wilderness of Calilfornia's Yosemite Valley from private exploitation, culminating in the establishment of Yosemite as America's first National Park in 1890. The scenic riches of the valley are explored, from age-old Sequoias to cascading waterfalls and brilliant fields of wild flowers. The message is clear: a part of the wilderness must be preserved for all time.
