Shot of a man gambling with death (skeleton) “I’ll take a chance an bet five passengers and a car.” Betting continues and a shot of train comes on screen. Man puts his head down in shame. “why gamble with death? Shot of a train coming by and a car crossing the tracks before another train comes through. Trains run in both Directions” another car crosses and almost gets hit by another train. Two cars cross when safe. man talks to lady and does some daring auto driving. a train is coming and the car barely crosses the tracks in time. Man says that was nothing. man drives cross cutting with train and his hit by the train in slow motion. Voice over talking about train. Cars and trains dont mix. Voiceover is obviously added to this version. The train is going to win not the automobile. Shots of mom dealing with her kids and only thinking about if there is enough hamburger to make for supper. She now knows trains can come anytime.. Two men sneak across tracks. Young man drives around with his girlfriend. Young man drives really fast trying to beat a train in Illinois. Slow motion of car barely making across the tracks.
