French Farm Family

Tells the story of a farm family of the Auvergne to show the impact of modernization and change on a rural, traditional village. Explains that the son wishes to leave the farm and work in the city, and the father is looking for ways to consolidate his scattered fields so he can use a tractor to increase production. Points out that France's position in the European Common Market depends upon the output of her farms.
