Four figure flight

Description: The British Test Pilot, Peter Twiss, tells the story of his successful attempt on the world air-speed record. Shows ground preparations at the Royal Aircraft Establishment at Boscombe Down, the radar control room which helped to keep the aircraft on course, the camera posts with their electronic timing equipment, and the Fairey Delat II on its record-breaking run of over 1100 miles per hour.
