Content Description
This tape contains highlights from South Carolina’s 45-28 loss to Florida State on 11/8/1986. This game was played during the day in Columbia. There is also footage from the second half of South Carolina’s 48-21 win over Wake Forest on 11/15/1986. This game was played during the day in very muddy conditions in Columbia. There is also an interview with South Carolina player Gus Robinson who had an interception during the game. The final segment consist of highlights from the second half of the 21-21 tie against Clemson on 11/22/1986 in Clemson. This was a day game. There is also a brief interview with Sterling Sharpe. Collection Description
This collection includes 16mm film and video shot by the University of South Carolina's Athletic Department from the 1940s to the 1990s. Most of the films document UofSC's football and basketball programs; a handful document the University's track-and-field program. The majority of films and videos show games played by the Fighting Gamecocks, both football and basketball teams, and include full games and highlights, with defensive and offensive wide shots, for training, scouting and recruitment purposes, as well as special events in the athletic calendar.
