Footage shows UofSC defense only. GAME RECAP: Junior Bobby Marino kicked a 21-yard field goal with 17 seconds remaining to give the Gamecocks a 10-7 victory over the home-standing Ole Miss Rebels. LB Grahl Phillips recovered a Rebel fumble at the UofSC 47-yard line setting up the game-winning drive and subsequent field goal. RBs Jay Lynn Hodgin and Kevin Long ran for 12 and 15 yards respectively followed by a Jeff Grantz to Phillip Logan pass play to the Ole Miss 13-yard line. Three running plays put the ball on the four and Marino did the rest. The win snapped a five-game losing streak for the Gamecocks.
