Content Description
Various clips of the University of South Carolina and Clemson University football teams. Based on the equipment worn by the players, this footage depicts games from the 1940s through the 1960s. Fragments of games include: Clemson vs University of Kentucky; USC vs Clemson; Clemson vs LSU at the 1959 Sugar Bowl in New Orleans; USC vs Clemson in the late 1950s; USC vs Clemson; Clemson vs University of Kentucky; Clemson vs Wake Forest; Clemson vs University of Kentucky; Clemson vs Duke.

Collection Description
This collection includes 16mm film and video shot by the University of South Carolina's Athletic Department from the 1940s to the 1990s. Most of the films document UofSC's football and basketball programs; a handful document the University's track-and-field program. The majority of films and videos show games played by the Fighting Gamecocks, both football and basketball teams, and include full games and highlights, with defensive and offensive wide shots, for training, scouting and recruitment purposes, as well as special events in the athletic calendar.
