This take is divided into four parts. Part 1 is from week 2 of the 1984 season and depicts the highlights from the game played on September 8, 1984 between The Citadel and the University of South Carolina at Williams-Brice Stadium. The Gamecocks beat the Bulldogs 31-24. The second part includes footage narrated by Jim Forest of the Gamecock coaches and players preparing to play the next opponent (presumably Duke University on September 22, 1984) in the meeting room, film room, and on the field. The third part is a feature of the new natural grass playing surface being installed at Williams-Brice Stadium. During the 1983-84 offseason, at the urging of new coach Joe Morrison, the university removed the AstroTurf and replaced it with natural grass. This feature includes an interview with the administrator over athletic department facilities, Sarge Frye. The fourth and final segment features footage from when Gamecock head coach Jim Morrison visited a race for the Winston Cup Series (presumably in 1983 or 1984) to visit with the Class of 2002 International Motor Sports Hall of Fame Inductee Tim Richmond of the Blue Max Racing Team.
