The Gamecocks completed the season with 1 win and 9 losses under Head Coach Paul Dietzel. Contains highlights from Carolina's only win of the season, a victory over the NC State Wolfpack 31-21. A notable player from the 1966 football season is defensive back/kick returner Bobby Bryant. A threat to return interceptions and kicks, Bryant was a first-team All-American in 1966 and still holds the school record for UofSC's longest punt return for a touchdown with a 98 yard return against NC State (6:29). Most of the films document UofSC's football and basketball programs; a handful document the University's track-and-field program. The majority of films and videos show games played by the Fighting Gamecocks, both football and basketball teams, and include full games and highlights, with defensive and offensive wide shots, for training, scouting and recruitment purposes, as well as special events in the athletic calendar.
