These games include South Carolina’s 24-3 victory over Appalachia State in Columbia on 9/5/1987, South Carolina’s 13-6 loss to Georgia in Athens on 9/26/1987, South Carolina’s 58-10 win over Virginia in Columbia on 10/17/1987, South Carolina’s 48-0 win over North Carolina State on 10/31/1987, and South Carolina’s 20-16 loss to Miami of Florida in Miami on 12/5/1987.

Collection Description
This collection includes 16mm film and video shot by the University of South Carolina's Athletic Department from the 1940s to the 1990s. Most of the films document UofSC's football and basketball programs; a handful document the University's track-and-field program. The majority of films and videos show games played by the Fighting Gamecocks, both football and basketball teams, and include full games and highlights, with defensive and offensive wide shots, for training, scouting and recruitment purposes, as well as special events in the athletic calendar.
