Ruth and Bert Watson shown picking oranges. Shows an airship (blimp) in the sky and people stopped by the roadside to look at orange groves. Shows buildings and streets of Miami driving through and the storefront of Saks Fifth Avenue, Miami. Shows the Floridian Hotel, and the Fleetwood Hotel on West Avenue, Miami Beach, now destroyed. Shows the hotels in Palm Beach. Dolphins are shown in the water and boats in the harbor, as well as some trained seals, some large turtles and other sea animals. Underwater shots show fish. Taken in Islamorada, in the Florida Keys. Ruth and Bert Watson are shown walking on the beach. Palm trees are shown by the roadside and an airship docked. Women [Ruth Marie (Garber) Watson and Annetta Scheff] are shown in the garden of a house with flowers and fruit trees and [Miles Bert Watson and Linden Scheff] .
This collection of home movies, shot by Mr. Bert Watson, of Fredericktown, Ohio, feature his wife Ruth, and daughters Janet, Deborah and Susan, as well as some of their many friends, family, and neighbors.
