Episode number 1 of Series “Canoecraft”. Intended for the complete newcomer to canoeing, this films shows the importance of never canoeing without a lifejacket. Shows methods of getting afloat, simple paddling strokes, and how to choose a route. Also shows how easy it is to escape from a capsize, and deals with how to land both canoeist and canoe. Suitable for upper primary and lower secondary levels.
