Description: These 1966 promotional outtakes captures the first flight of the newest member of the Trans-Texas Airways (TTa) fleet: Douglas DC-9 aircraft dubbed “Pamper Jets.” The Pamper Jet serviced Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Little Rock, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Corpus Christi, and Beaumont. Previously known as Aviation Enterprises and later known as Texas International Airways, TTa was a Houston-based airline with passenger service to airports across the United States and multiple in Mexico. The company merged with Continental Airlines in 1982, which merged with United Airlines in 2010.
