Fire risks with underground conveyors

Demonstrates how fires are caused on mine conveyor belts, how correct pit maintenance can prevent many of these outbreaks and how National Coal Board research is developing devices and materials to reduce these risks. Reference is made in the film to the use of polyvinyl chloride plastic for conveyor belts.
