Complete Record: Footage begins with family of two sons of about 8 and a teenage daugther and the a mother, presumably the dad of this family is behind the camera. Lots of great shots of Disney Land from on foot (sometimes focusing on the original family and sometimes on other people) and on various rides included extensive footage of a safari boat ride. MS of a parade which walks through the Disneyland central street. Briefly shots of people riding donkeys. Shots of a small river like body of water, first there is a large canoe then cuts to a shot of a steam boat named “Mark Twain” and then a small sailboat home named Bertha Mae on the stern of which the wife is sitting. Cuts to shots that seem to be filmed from the sailing boat. Cuts to footage shot from a car on the freeway, as it approaches a city. Shots at a family home, colorfully dressed and happy looking people in the garden. Series of shots of a white cat, both alone then playing with a baby and a box. Quite cute. Cuts to more shots of genial people in a garden, walking in front of the camera with arms around one another. Waving to the camera and packing the car, there seems to be someone leaving, footage of a beautiful retro blue car pulling away. Cuts to footage, now at night, of couples ballroom dancing. Couples made up of old people and children, both Asian and White. Shots of and old couple kissing and raising their drinks to the camera. Shot of DOG in women’s lap. Cuts to daytime footage at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles. A couple of shots of the observatory followed by WS of the view it affords of Los Angeles. Cuts to footage at a lake, a later shot shows a sign which says “Lucerne Community Pier” and so it seems safe to assume this lake is Lucerne, northern California. Footage of Asian family as they have a picnic lunch by the lake. Cuts to a shot of a speed boat pulling a water skier along. Cuts to the family as they walk and relax on the small pier. Cuts to shot from from seat of car as it drives on a large bridge. Cut to a WS of beautiful dusk sky of deep reds and oranges. Cuts to more evening footage, now of a family gathering. Briefly cuts to a MS of a women dancing in some sort of traditional outfit. Two more CU shots of the same white cat as before. Cuts to a MS of another family picnic, now daytime. Cuts to shots on a beach broad walk and then cuts to a shot from the beach looking inland and panning across a large building. Cuts to footage of young boys playing in sand and then a young women in a white dress playing in the shallows of the sea. Cuts to a MS a dozen people gathered around wooden boxes full of bright red tomatoes. Shots of them kneeling by the boxes and smiling at the camera.
