Description: Episode of Series “Earth and it’s peoples”. Illustrates many aspects of peasant life in Slovakia (Czechoslovakia). Traditional methods of cultivation and harvesting crops are described, but the film shows the changes in methods which are occurring. The village pictured in the film is in the Tatra Mountains, in the northern part of Slovakia.
