FACT OR FICTION - Hoover Dam

Wow. >> While few of us can tell one dam from another, there is a clue that should reveal the fiction of our statement. The heavy rainfall in the state of Washington would have covered these surrounding mountains with dense forests. This rugged and barren terrain is typical of southern Nevada, which should tell you that this is actually Hoover Dam, one of 3,000 major dams in the United States. Hoover Dam on the Nevada Arizona border is the world's highest, soaring to 725 ft. Fiction about the United States is easy to come by, but knowing the facts about your country can make you proud to be a citizen. Both in terms of reliability, the Atlas shown here and the solid fueled Polaris are already our first line of defense.
