An animated film essay that probes and satirizes military rhetoric and the escalation of the arms race. Birdlike generals, fat atom and hydrogen bombs, and shark-like missiles are drawn by political cartoonist Robert Osborn to create a colorful, chaotic image of our world's weaponry. Glazer's talking-blues soundtrack exposes the paranoia behind military strategy, its acronyms and its propaganda.
