Complete Record: A cartoon, a song, a story. It is a warning of the destruction mankind courts in the perpetual race towards arms superiority. An animated film essay that probes and satirizes military rhetoric and the escalation of the arms race. Birdlike generals, fat atom and hydrogen bombs, and shark-like missiles are drawn by political cartoonist Robert Osborn to create a colorful, chaotic image of our world's weaponry. Glazer's talking-blues soundtrack exposes the paranoia behind military strategy, its acronyms and its propaganda. Presents a comment on the arms race and national security using drawings and the music of Tom Glazer.
