The natural beauty, historic value, and recreational uses of parks and sites such as the San Jacinto Monument and Battleground, Palo Duro Canyon State Park, Davis Mountains State Park, Pedernales Falls State Park, Monahans Sandhills State Park, Washington-on-the-Brazos State Park, Lyndon B. Johnson State Park, and Caddo Lake State Park are discussed, among many others. Texas Parks and Wildlife is working to ensure that these resources will be available in the future for generations of Texans to come!
