Features the rugged Sandia Mountains outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Through the poem-like narration delivered by Western star Rex Allen, and the original musical score by William Loose, the mountain range is treated as a living thing with a pulsating life of its own. Uses the Sandias Mountains symoblically to represent all mountains, and implicitly, all of man's natural surroundings.
