Eternal Change - Story Of A Mountain

Depicts the continuing process of change and evolution of Mt Rainier, a major volcanic peak in the state of Washington. Traces the origin of the mountain from an eruption through a rift in the surface, its development in subsequent volcanic action and its present format. Shows the cycle of seasons, the erosion by wind and water, the action of snow and ice and the movement of glaciers. Points out that a mountain looks permanent but in fact is always changing.
