Description: A French version of Landfall Asia. Portrays life in the Canadian Navy as observed in a spring cruise to the Far East. Shows scenes in exotic ports of call--the Buddha of Kamakura in Japan, the golden beaches of Ceylon, the tropical zoo at Colombo, the Temple of the Dawn in Bangkok and the Water Flower Village. Features scenes of the big commonwealth exercise, Jetex, a simulated naval engagement in which the Canadian destroyers join ships of the British, Australian, New Zealand and Malayan Navies.
