Description: Re-creates the turmoil of a campaign in California in 1964, when citizens were asked to vote on an amendment to the State constitution that would nullify the open housing laws. The conflict between this and the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Consitution was strong enough to bring it before the Suprement Court. Historic photographs help explain major precedents upon which the Court based its decision.
