Description: Produced by Ghost Dance for the American Foundation for the Blind in 1982, this educational film addresses the hesitation that many employers have towards hiring employees with visual impairments. The film follows numerous persons who are blind that each hold different occupations, including a computer programer, a secretary, and a New York Supreme Court judge. Some individuals use devices, such as optacon readers, Kurzweil reading machines, and braille books, whereas others do not. One of the videographers for the film, Ilan Ziv, went on to become a notable documentary director, known for Six Days in June (2007), Capitalism (2014) and Exile: A Myth Unearthed (2011).
