El Camino Real

The silent color film captures an unidentified group distributing pamphlets and collecting donations at the Los Angeles County Fair. Notably, the film includes footage of a notice sign conveying the message: "You may be approached by religious personnel seeking money donations. The courts uphold such activities based on the constitutional rights of religion. The fair in no way endorses these solicitations." The film is part of the Fairplex Records, which document the Los Angeles County Fair's vibrant 100-year history (1922-present) through a variety of materials and formats. Fairplex is a non-profit organization that operates the Los Angeles County Fair.
