Description: A portrait of Dr Helen Caldicott, Australian-born but US-based paediatrician and author. Describes her struggle to inform and arouse the public in the USA and Australia to the medical dangers of a nuclear attack. Includes scenes of 1979 return to Australia on a tour to promote her book “Nuclear Madness”; Today Tonight interview, and discussions with Government and other radio interviews. We also see Dr Caldicott in the Northern Territory where she meets with union officials and presents her case against uranium mining.
