over 35 then be happy tooth decay is no longer a big problem for you there is one catch of course after age 35 more teeth are lost because of diseases of the gums than because of tooth decay but don't despair gum diseases can be cured and they can be prevented the major cause of this widespread problem is neglect lack of proper tooth brushing lack of regular professional checkups so even though your war with decay germs is largely passed don't relax too much good dental habits at home and regular dental care are even more important now that you're past 35 remember those are permanent teeth
