Description: In one experiment two white rats are conditioned in a grill box to display anxiety at the sound of a clicker. One animal then receives an electro convulsive shock (ECS) and the other receives a pseudo ECS. Another experiment uses two additional animals, who have learned alever pressing habit in a grill box and are conditioned by shock to terminate pressing at the sound of a clicker. Draws conclusions from both experiments.
