Suggests reasons and possible corrective measures pertaining to these problems. Contrasts the curriculum of the modern school with that of eighty years ago. Discusses the demands being made upon the public school and asks the public to answer the question--"What shall the school teach?" Constitutes a visualized report of the U.S. Commissioner of Education.
