Edmund G. Ross, Part II

Dramatizes the incident in which the new Senator Edmund Ross found himself casting the deciding vote against the impeachment of Andrew Johnson in 1868. As a result he suffered defeat, social ostracism, and poverty; but by such sacrifices the power of the Presidency was preserved against encroachments by Congress.
