One of the first films to honestly bring the background, philosophy, and character of the rock star to the public, it is a portrait of the man behind the sound who is a man totally committed to what he loves. His audience knows it; his performance shows it. Shots: opens with his image on billboard, quick shots of people saying how much they like Eddie, him performing on stage, stills of him in the early days (early 60s) with band (The Temptations), Smokey Robinson speaks about the band, more shots of band and Eddie by himself, 1973 Eddie speaks wearing a hat and beard, Mary Wilson (Supremes) speaks, “I’m Gong to Make You Love Me” plays, Eddie speaks, many stills, “Just My Imagination” plays, performance - split screen, then tripletted, performs “Keep on Truckin”, more people speak about song “Keep on Truckin”, some try singing it.
