Complete Record: French medical film demonstrating experiments on the Eagle Ray, a kind of stingray. It shows the rays swimming around in the ocean, then on a lab bench with a doctor cauterizing its endolymphatic ducts in order to throw off its balance. Then we see the poor fish swimming around in circles in an aquarium, shot from above and the side of the tank. If it weren’t awful it would be beautiful. Luckily all the intertitles are in French and there’s nothing gruesome on screen, so it’s mostly mesmerizing.
