Following the dedication is footage of young men and boys learning forestry methods and playing baseball and volleyball. E.O. Siecke was a state forester from 1918 to 1942, and Director of the Texas Forest Service for 25 years. The E.O. Siecke State Forest is dedicated to forestry research and the demonstration of commercial timber growing.
