Complete Record: Why do two friendly neighbors become such enemies? Two animated puppets, one fat and one slim, really enjoy being neighbors. They grow flowers, play instruments, and go fishing and sightseeing together. They even help each other and share their food. Then one day, one of them buys a phonograph and togetherness vanishes as the phonograph completely takes over. Everything built up by the friendship deteriorates as each one vies to have bigger and better material things. In time, they become bitter and lonely, but do nothing to cement the breach.
