Dry wood

This documentary on the lives of the French-speaking Blacks of Louisiana's Cajun country features the music of Bois Sec (Dry Wood) Ardoin, his sons and Canray Fontenot. Their older, rural style of Cajun music is interwoven with the lives of the Ardoin and Fontenot families. Highlights include a rollicking country Mardi Gras, work in the rice fields, a men's only supper, a hog-butchering party.
