Complete Record: 2 reels. The plot is mainly a vehicle for the songs and the recording stars, starting with Johnny De Little singing "The Wind and the Rain," and Tommy Steele, "The Dream Maker." Steele plays a self-effacing assistant to a music executive, spending his meager salary lending money to hopeful young singers and helping his old alma mater, an orphanage. His supportive girl friend helps him with a benefit which showcases the talent not already seen in the framework of the recording studio. Further songs include Dick Kallman singing "Meeting You," Shane and the Fentones singing "Somebody Else," Steele singing "Egg and Chips," Marion Ryan singing "Love a Man," Danny Williams with "There Is No Dawn." The George Mitchell Show sings and dances "What Do You Know--It's Summer" and "Once Upon a Time in Venice."
