Description: Story of Flannery O'Connor, the "displaced person" is a conscientious but driven Polish refugee who arrives at a Georgia farm in the late 1940's. He is brought by a elderly priest who means well but fails to integrate the Pole with the people on the farm. His presence causes them to come together in a tragic act of complicity.
