Decimal Operations and Uses

Complete Record: We find decimals being use din many of our everyday experiencs. We use real life examples to illustrate additiona and subtraction of decimals and to briefly touch on multiplication and division. We see a claculator being used to solve some of the more complicated operations with decimals, but the students are counseled that "a calculator can't think for you.” The film also shows how and why we sometimes round off decimals.
