you've seen Treasure Island at the height of its beauty with every building bright with color when every Fountain sparkled in the sun when every Court every road every hallway was filled with people when the banners flew and the music crashed out now telu shows you Treasure Island as it is today abandoned and deserted the plaster is cracking the fountains are still the flag Poes are bare there's nobody on Treasure Island today but the seagull the gayway is there but not in the way it used to be the barkers are gone the girls are gone the giant Crane and the octopus and the roller coaster are still will they move once more will the World's Fair of the West ever be seen again in all its brilliant color with its crowds and its music or will it always be baren like this we don't know that's up to the bankers and the creditors but the giant cash register which used to turn up the big attendance figures is all closed out and it doesn't seem to be in working order so perhaps this is goodbye to the Golden Gate International exposition
