As word reaches the world of the gold discovery in the Klondike, thousands begin pouring into the hard-to-reach primitive Yukon. The history-making events of that era have been laboriously reconstructed into a moving documentary, with hundreds of still photographs meticulously colored to make an accurate and vivid description of an event that already yielded |300 million in gold and other precious metals, and which changed our world. Narrated by Hal Holbrook.
