Description: Compares institutional and home care of mentally retarded children. Danny lives at home with his brothers and sisters and attends a special neighborhood training school. At nine, he is a good mixer, likes activity, and is learning to do more for himself at home and school. Nicky was placed in a public institution as a baby and is shy and vulnerable. At 14 he is just entering the institution's school.
