Description: Designed by architect, I.M. Pei & Partners, Dallas City Hall is one of the city’s most unique buildings. The seven acre plaza boasts sculptures by Henry Moore, a large reflecting pool and fountain, and three distinct flagpoles, flying the United States, Texas, and city’s flags.This film from the City of Dallas Municipal Archives is a presentation of Dallas City Hall at its completion in 1978. The film features time lapse photography and narration of the building and plaza’s construction, as well as footage from the public dedication held on March 12, 1978.
