Czechoslovakia is not represented at the Munich pact, footage of street fighting in Prague, struggle for independence fails and Czechoslovakia joins the communist block in eastern Europe, the country welcomes Khoruschev’s support, Antonin Novotny is forced to resign, mastermind of bloodless coup is Alexander Dubcek, he promises a liberalized economy, which means women’s fashions and music, this is in contrast with Brezhnev’s communist doctrine, Soviets invade Czechoslovakia under Brezhnev.
