Description: This animated short is a spoof of experimental and arty films. Pintoff's abstract images adorn the screen while Mel Brooks offers hilarious off-screen comments supposedly originating from an irritated and confused patron who is sure he knows garbage when he sees it. This Academy Award winning film is Brook's earliest film work.

Complete Record: With voice-over commentary by Mel Brooks as an aging cinema patron, this animated film is a satire on audiences as well as on the offerings in present day theatres and art galleries. The film ridicules both ‘art’ that is really a hoax, and people who mistake ignorance for wit and wisdom.
