Synopsis: Explores research being conducted at the Carnegie Institute of Technology with electronic digital computers in an effort to evolve new theories on the human mental process. Dr. Herbert Simon with the help of a computer presents his theory of how human beings memorize, and Dr. Alan Newell shows how the computer was responsible for creating a new theory about human problem solving.
