Tells brief stories of children/teenagers, and then shows their supposed dead bodies in the war. Somehow a promotion to buy War Bonds. 2) United States Air Force (USAF) TV Spot. Recruiting commercial. 3) 1970’s Color Tina Turner narrates and sings “Workin’ Together” an Air Force (USAF) commercial, showing black and white people in an integrated Air Force. F-104 Starfighters take off, montage of various men of women of color in different Air Force uniforms (dress blues, olive-drab working utilities, flight suits). Black man on street cuts to black man in olive-drab jumpsuit cuts to black man on runway in silver fightfighter suit. Black woman airman in nurses’ uniform cuts to same woman dancing in a disco. Paper computer print out. Black woman airman in uniform as computer technician. Reel to reel computer. Black pilot on flight line, in cockpit. B-52 flying toward camera, setting sun behind. Turner address audience as my brothers and sisters. 4) 1952 B&W Musical number set in 1950s office. Pretty blonde woman secretary talks to man seated at desk in homey office. She sings near filing cabinet and at desk. Man talks on phone, looks in direction of woman. He walks up behind her, she stops singing, and they put their foreheads together and smile. 5) 1976 Color Animated political fable of the governors (depicted as blue balls) versus the symbionts, the residents of an island in Puget Sound near Seattle (depicted as red balls). The governors, in their legislature, refuse to build a park for the symbionts. The island, personified as a city on a hemisphere with legs, abandon the governors and takes its symbionts away. Soldiers are brown balls. Island walks on water., ponders fleeing to Madagascar or Australia. Island fended off coast of “foreign power” by artillery barrage. Island returns to Seattle, shots of vote sheets marked yay, welcomed back by blue balls. 6) 1978 Color Childlike animated magic marker drawings illustrating the magic of life.
