American Cancer Society - “The Trucker” Man standing next to his truck speaks about how he’s giving up smoking and tanning on the beach. “If I can give up these things, I can live without them.” How you live may save your life. 3. Catholic Relief - “Disaster” Catholic Relief Services provides aid to those in need after disasters. Shots of people receiving food and help during a crisis situation. 4. Diabetes - “Get a Hand on it” A good sized group of cyclists ride along the path. One of them veers off the path and uses some diabetic medicine. Epilepsy Foundation of America - “Mountain Climber” Man with epilepsy is seen climbing a mountain while the narrator says “With proper treatment people with epilepsy are doing things they couldn’t have done before.” 6. The American Veterinarian Medical Association - “Right Pet Family” Make sure you get a pet that fits your family. A family is shown with things that don’t fit, ex. a bicycle. Then they get a DOG and play with it. 7. I.R.S. - “Interest/Dividend Exclusion” Friends tell each other about how they can benefit from learning more about their finances. 8. I.R.S. - “Tax Credit” At a booking agent’s office a young man explains to the agent how he can better make use of tax credit. 9. Medic Alert - “Life Saving Information” Shots of a man and woman who are going about their normal days while wearing a medical alert bracelet. Your life is precious to those who love you. 10. I.R.S. - “New Legislation” There’s a brochure put out by the I.R.S. with the new legislation mapped out. A couple at a meeting discuss this fact. 11. Child Abuse Prevention - “Lost and Lonely” Shows a young boy who hasn’t been picked up from school. At 17 he stays out all night. At 21 he has committed his first armed robbery. At 25 he’ll be serving a prison sentence. All could have been prevented if the child had been cared for. 12. Communication Workers of America - “World Communication Year” World Communications year 1983. Technologies are getting more advanced but they would be useless without the people who use them. Ends with a shot of diverse group of people with the earth in the foreground. 13. United Negro College Fund - “Gardener” Part-time gardener is also a full time student. If you support the United Negro College Fund you can help keep tuition costs down so he can afford to go to school. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. 14. Medic Alert - “Lorne Green” Lorne Green tells people with serious medical problems that they should wear a medical alert bracelet as a helpful warning. 15. Garcia - “Fishing” Garcia Ambassadeur fishing rod. Better fishing through innovation. A man is struggling to reel in a fish. Shots of men with their large catches. 16. Virginia Division of Forestry - “Plant a Tree” Shows a man planting a baby tree. Then are shots of an old man sitting on a bench in front of a large tree. And some kids standing in front of some big trees. Plant a tree. 21. American Red Cross - “Helping Hands (Full Length)” We’ll help. Will you? Shots of peoples’ hands illustrating the many services that Red Cross offers. 22. Benjamin Moore Paint - “Lighthouse” Your Benjamin Moore dealer. He really knows his paint. A lighthouse operator gets a truly weather resistant paint. A lady gets a paint that matches her negligee. 23. Benjamin Moore Paint - “Moving House” Your Benjamin Moore dealer. He really knows his paint. A house painter is painting a house while talking about how great the paint is for its exterior. At the end the house rolls away moved by an unseen vehicle. 24. Sentry Hardware - “New Fashion Store” Hardware employee helps little kids fix their wooden cart. Next are shots advertising the products Sentry makes. 25. High Point Coffee - “Outdoors” Flavor to decaffeinate the ones you love. 97% caffeine free. A couple is camping outside and they drink High Point coffee. The lady has convinced the man to drink it. 26. Kemper Insurance - “Desert II/Independent Agent” (1979) Shots of cavalry corps with a Kemper Insurance flag while a narrator describes the job of an independent agent. 27. Griffin Shoe Polish - “Honor Student” For the winning shine. Griffin. Child is getting honored for being an honor student. His mother frets when she remembers that his shoes are dirty. But she doesn’t know that he used Griffin earlier, so when he stands up she celebrates how great his shoes look. 28. D-Con Roach Trap - “Tell” Muhammad Ali wears a shirt that says “d-Con Power” on it and explains that d-con kills roaches without a poison. It’s a trap that you can simply throw away. 29. She uses Black Flag which she calls her exterminator. Kills bugs fast. 33. High Point - “Windows Instant” Flavor to decaffeinate the ones you love. Wife gives husband a cup of coffee through the window. She convinces him to drink decaf since it has a hearty robust taste. 34. Sentry Hardware - “Energizer” Same as 24, but this time advertising Energizer batteries. 35. Benjamin Moore Paint - “Reasons” Kids walk behind a man discussing the reasons for making a child proof paint. Your Benjamin Moore dealer. He really knows his paint. 36. Sentry Hardware - “WD-40” Same as 24, but advertising WD-40. 37. Kemper Insurance - “Mountain” Kemper cavalry ride up a mountain as if to say whenever you’re in trouble Kemper will be there. 38. Sentry Hardware - “Variable Speed Drill” Same as 24, but advertising a drill. 39. D-Con Four/gone - “DOG” Muhammad Ali shows how four gone spray gets fleas not only off your pet but your furniture, carpet and drapes, too. More Power to You. 40. Sentry Hardware - “Ready to Help” Same as 24. Ready to help when you’re ready to do it yourself. 41. Sentry Hardware - “Car Wax” Same as 24. But selling car wax. 42. Black Flag - “Stepping Out” Lady starts freaking out about the bugs in her house. Her husband tells her to use Black Flag. She uses the fogging spray. Pic-Way Shoe Mart - “Ballerina” Ballerina pumps are on sale, but same marching band footage as 49. 54. Pic-Way Shoe Mart - “Get in Step” Exact same as 50. 55. D-Con Ready Mixed - “Head” Men are talking about killing rats. The one with a d-Con hat on suggests the brand, because no rat becomes immune to d-Con. 56. Toro Lawn Mower - “Central Park” A man is shown cutting all the grass in Central Park with a Toro mower. Also seen are people having fun in the park. Haven’t you done without a Toro long enough? 57. D-Con Mouse Prufe - “Wind-Up” A bunch of wind-up mice are set loose on a wooden floor. Mouse prufe is better than a trap because the bait can kill dozens at once instead of one at a time. Gets rid of your mice problem. 58. Toro Lawn Mowers - “Mackinac Islands” The Toro Challenge. Two men cut the lawns of all the Mackinac Islands. Haven’t you done without a Toro long enough?
