feels he feel kind of like rubber not like a fish well you know he's not I know he's a warm blooded ammo that's his blow hole on the top of his head they only open that when they're going to breathe how many P do they have they have um almost 100 te you remember how he hears behind the eye there's a slick he hears through that I know another way they use sound how to locate things right by The Echoes the echo tell them when they're getting close to things or moving away how good can they see underwater well but we know they can see through the window but keep watching us right now when they swim up to the top they just take a little breath of air then they come back down hi Mr porpus I mean dolphin you remember the difference yeah I think so isn't it that the dolphin his a long nose kind of like a beef right corpses have blood heads they have funny Tails well their tails are horizontal instead of vertical like a fish and they're swimming that lets them come up to the surface for a breath of air a lot faster they steer with those little fins in front pectoral fins little balancing devices I like watching them underwater yeah I can see more of what's going on here Steve you remember our other Keepers Ed and Chuck hi Steve how you doing are you staying for the show d said maybe I could help oh he did did he why don't you stop by helping me get the fish ready how much fish does a dolphin eat about 16 lb a day wow that's a lot does the dolphin know what what's happening when he comes to the window yeah they keep an eye on us and as soon as we start going upstairs with a pil of fish they all already know that and they're waiting for us up there you still want to help all right stay with me I'll show you what to do those whistles chirps and grunts are the Dolphins welcoming you to the 7 Seas Panorama this building is the first artificial home for dolphins is built away from the Sea Coast we tried to maintain a salt content of 3% and temperatures between 70 and 80° the animals in the tank are bottle-nosed dolphins more commonly known as porpuses we'd like to start the show Vicki bringing [Music] her okay Vick is coming up right now to get the Bell let's get back over here [Applause] on right we're going to stay with the retrieving here [Applause] com all three dolphins have a cap we have to help them out a little bit by putting that cap on the right way [Applause] salty and all up you're going to help you can just put those sailor caps out on the [Applause] wall they stay up there by a tail back and forth underwater and when they give us a good dance they get a piece of [Applause] fish and she's going to stay up in her tail right now let's see if she stays up there for a long time [Applause] [Music] [Applause] and right now we're going to have you go and help with a boat of the tank to pick up that boat that's floating on on the water we want salty to pull that boat all the way around the tank seems simple enough there go now when he comes back with a boat take that ring away from him and give him a [Applause] fish okay do it now we'll give him a couple fishes a reward that's a good job everyone wants to come back in here to get couple more fish and then we're going to have them all try a few different types of [Applause] jumps now going to get set for a poop jump we want to get up there without any part of the let's see what if they bump into that they don't get any fish and we have them do it again [Applause] to a jum next they're all set right now they're coming around let's see if they make [Applause] it and everybody made that jump so we're going to take it up a little bit higher we need one more jump can they jump there [Applause] a fish we have a couple of fish for everybody here in the tank all right we're going to go out over the water to try a bait jump we use salty and Angie for this jump and you may get soaking wet on the bottom two benches on the other side of the building directly in front of us so feel free to get out the way okay do you think they can do this I don't know here we go [Applause] J okay you can start of look over and see see him coming up out of the [Applause] water okay's coming up [Applause] right again very good each it a lot of to get way up out of the water Sal and always it easy okay I'll get the hand out of here now let's have them do their and we want salty picky Ani and
